Morticia is a unique theatrical four-piece gothic band from Minneapolis whose musical inspiration comes from such infamous notables as early Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath ranging to more heavy-edge European acts including The Damned and Sisters of Mercy. The music of Morticia features an intriguing 90's blend of gothic drone to technical metal guitar riffs, empassioned vocals as well as powerful rhythms. It is all done with their distinctive style of humorously twisted, electronically laced, hook laden, power driven rock. Theatre of Hate were a post-punk band formed in Britain in 1980.

Led by singer-songwriter and ex-member of punk band The Pack, Kirk Brandon, the original group also consisted of guitarist Steve Guthrie, bassist Stan Stammers (The Straps/EpileptThe Pack were a British punk rock band formed in 1978. Comprising Kirk Brandon (vocals, guitar), Simon Werner (died 26 Nov 2010) (guitar), Jonathan Werner (bass), and Rab Fae Beith (later of UK Subs) (drums). Beith was eventually replaced by Jim Walker (drums).[1] The band released two singles in 1979, before a change of name to Theatre of Hateics), saxophonist John Lennard and drummer Luke Rendle from Crisis/The Straps.........

WALTER HOLLAND - relativity 12' mlp 1986

walter holland California-based synthesist and guitarist honed his chops in the progressive rock band Amber Route. His solo albums firmly state his love of powerful, rock-anthem-style electronic pieces inspired in part by Tangerine Dream and Pink Floyd. Holland has also been instrumental in supporting the vital underground electronic scene that continues to develop outside the mainstream music industry. Toward this end, he established his independent Coriolis record label and distribution company, which released the critically acclaimed, multi-artist concept album Dali: the Endless Enigma (see entry under the collections and compilations of various artists at the end of this chapter).

FRONT 242 - no comment mlp 1985

Front 242 was created in 1980 by Daniel B (Daniel Bressanutti) and Dirk Bergen. After a few singles, Jean-Luc De Meyer (vocals) and Patrick Codenys joined the group and the first album, "Geography", was released. At this stage, Dirk Bergen left the group to become their manager. In 1983, Richard 23 (Richard Jonckheere) joined the group as vocalist/percussionist. With this line-up, the band released many albums of EBM, gaining more popularity with every release. (EBM stands for Electronic Body Music, a term invented by F242 themselves) They also established a solid live reputation, with an energetic show in para-military outfits. The year 1993 brought a radical change in style, with guest musicians, the disappearance of their military look and the exploration of both harder (guitar samples) and softer (female vocals, ambient) sounds. After many years of silence, except for a few live/remix-albums, Front 242 re-appeared in the spotlight in the late nineties with their Re:boot-tour, bringing modern, techno-like cover versions of their own songs. In 2003 they took a step back towards their EBM-roots, with the release of "Pulse" and "Still & Raw
